MQI is a turnkey Partner in construction, with in-house engineering, procurement, and construction teams. We have helped build critical infrastructure within the Ports of Iraq, and privately owned companies alike. Our work includes production plants and facilities, warehouses, hangers, watch towers, and roads.
FMA provides end-to-end cargo movement through Umm Qasr with full vessel coordination, customs clearance, air freight, and inland delivery across Iraq, supported by regional offices in Dubai, Jebel Ali, and Sydney.
Oil & GAS
MQI Oil & Gas services provides STS operations services, AST inspection and cleaning, hazardous waste management, NDT (UT, MT, PT, RT), certified welding/repairs, coatings/linings, and ICCP containment.
Marine Services
Samaa Al-Faw provides services in Marine logistics, port support, vessel services, including tug assistance, pilot coordination, mooring operations, marine transport, and offshore support for ports, terminals and oil & gas facilities.

Sumuu Al Qanun Law Firm provides full-service legal practice covering corporate, commercial, maritime, and regulatory law, including contracts, dispute resolution, arbitration, compliance, and representation for local and international clients in Iraq.

We source and deliver through our own international freight, logistics, and customs clearance company with 3 key offices in Basra, Dubai, and Sydney. Logistics and Custom Clearance
Mashareq Al Iraq owns and operates its own international freight, logistics, and customs clearance company, giving us complete control of the supply chain. From overseas shipping to last-mile delivery, every step is managed in-house for speed, transparency, and reliability. This independence means fewer delays, tighter cost control, and total accountability, ensuring that critical materials and equipment arrive exactly where and when they’re needed.
Project Management

Milestone Projects
The construction and implementation of the entry and exit road system into Um Qasr, engineered to handle heavy port operations and continuous use. Simultaneously, we rehabilitated the oil berth, restoring its full operational capacity and ensuring long-term durability.
Ministry of Electricity Distribution Centres
In collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity, we managed the sourcing and procurement of steel, cables, and other critical materials for the development of a large-scale warehouses across the country. These facilities support the modernization of electricity infrastructure, facilitating the transition of power systems from above-ground to underground, ensuring a step towards the future.
Al Faw GCC Interconnection Network
As part of the Al Faw Interconnection Network, we successfully constructed 110 high-capacity cables to deliver power from Saudi Arabia across the GCC and into southern Iraq. This multinational initiative represents a major step toward sustainable and reliable energy integration, strengthening regional cooperation and ensuring consistent power supply for the future.
